South Downs Nation Park status is here
(November 14, 2010)The years of discussion and wranglings are over and the nation gets its newest National Park. The Government confirmed the South Downs as a national park on the 1st April 2010. The official status will take place in April 2011 when the new National Park governing authority will take over the running of this latest addition to the British National Parks.
